What does fire mean to you? I’ve been scared when surrounded by forest fires (Sydney, 2019). I’ve felt the fire of love. This week, I was mesmerised watching a documentary about blast furnaces in Scotland that forge our railway tracks.
Fire is in the headlines for bad reasons. But it can be friend or foe, hero or villain. Depends on your relationship with it. Let’s explore this in an acrostic poem.
