Welcome back to Creative Constraints Club. In week nine, we’re ALONE (together).
I find myself alone a lot. I live alone, work alone, write alone – as much as I love to collaborate. A writing life can lead to lots of alone time. But does it mean I’m lonely? Not really, I enjoy my own company. Alone is a state, where loneliness is a feeling.
I’ve been reflecting on that thought in different forms of poetry. In fact, I discovered a new form of poetry that feels ideal for our subject. It’s called a ‘monostich’.
TODAY’S CREATIVE CONSTRAINT
SKILLS YOU’LL BOOST
Articulating essence
Choosing where to lean
Bringing yourself to your writing
Boost these skills and you’ll learn to communicate so much in so few words. You’ll also become a writer who shares their heart, the sort of writer readers adore.
Happy writing
Rob
